Transforming this disused farmhouse into a welcome space for creative activity has meant establishing flexible spaces for multiple uses ranging from day to day living, socialising and debate to quiet contemplation and reflection.
In the ‘Thinking Space’ room, new benches (based on two existing ones) are moved around the room for sleeping, study or discussion. New storage and file systems house our ongoing archive of research and design materials. The fresco serves as a catalyst and reference point focussing on the site and its future.
